About Madeleine — Madeleine joined Berkeley Air full-time following her bachelor’s in Molecular and Cell Biology and Interdisciplinary Human Rights from the University of California, Berkeley. During her undergrad, she worked as a part-time Berkeley Air intern starting in May of 2016. Madeleine has completed assisted and independent research in small molecule cancer drug discovery, phenotypic and genotypic variation at the border of small mammal speciation events, the epidemiology of Sudden Oak Death in the Berkeley Hills, and protocol in private practice pediatrics. She has volunteered with anti-sex trafficking initiatives in the Bay Area and served as the UC Berkeley’s American Medical Women’s Association chapter President for two years. Her work at Berkeley Air keeps her engaged with her passion for understanding epidemiological trends in diverse populations.
